Six more winners at Sun Bingo

21st April, 2008

On a Saturday night, the $10,000 jackpot was shared between sex more players at Sun Bingo. Some of them, like Rose Senio who is 81, were lucky veteran players.

Senio admitted to being loyal to Sun Bingo from the start, which didn’t stop her from being extremely surprised and excited when the numbers were announced.

"I was so surprised, I told my son Allan: 'You look at them,' " explained Senio.

Senio’s son, Allan, was the one who brought her the extra Sunday Suns and bingo cards during the six week contest. This is why the lady is planning to spend some of the cash on Allan and have the rest invested in a keepsake.

"I'll buy something so that I can remember I won it at bingo. Maybe a chair for the house," wondered Senio.

Another Sun Bingo veteran winner was Brian Hermary of Gibbons, 49. He is planning to spend the money having fun with his wife.

"How about buying her a set of golf clubs? She's taken up golf in the last year, and she's been liking it," said Harmary.

Other winners include Kenneth Hearn, 43, who intends to invest her share into the van repairs and other bills; Rick McSparron, 58, who’s lucky win came just in time, after the break-in into his house. That’s why it’s no surprise he wants to spend money on alarm for the house. The last two winners were Ron Watson, 61, and an out-of-town winner from Camrose.
